Cuba Trio was founded by the musician Angel Alday in 1925. Leading figures have joined this group such as Compay Segundo in 1933.
The musical group is also contemporary with the Trio Matamoros. Has managed to cultivate and keep alive the richest traditions and popular Cuban music.
In their presentations highlight the joy, the color and flavor are unique, each performance leaving a moment unforgettable memory of the spectators.
The presentation in our city is possible thanks to the efforts of Victor Jara Cultural Center, sponsored by City of Chillán through BCI (Cultural Grant Aid Act) and the collaboration of the Cultural Artists Steel Corporation.
